Agyrtes Frölich 1799Front margin of the pronotum truncate, almost straight. Slender, rather parallel-sided species [Abb. 4]. Antennae without a clear club, but evenly and slightly broadening towards the tip with the segments loosely attached. Last segment of the palps thickened and ovate, broader than the penultimate segment.

Ecanus Stephens 1839Length 5-6 mm. Elongate oval [Abb. 5]. Shining pitchy black with reddish-brown sides. Clypeus separated from the antennae by a distinct transverse furrow. Last segment of the antennae noticeably large. Widely distributed species.
